А ось один з членів Європейського Центрального банку Фабіо Паннета вважає, що цифровий актив не має внутрішньої цінності, використовується злочинцями та забруднює навколишнє середовище. Він сказав все, що йому дали прочитати про Біткоїн. Якби він знав, скільки енергії витрачається на підтримку функціонування нинішньої фінансової системи та які обсяги ресурсів використовуються, а на доданок розібрався б з основами Біткоїна, то все одно не змінив би своєї думки.
